White Denim get bad reviews - I dig it ...!

It's really cool to read a bad review in a Danish mainstream music magzine, because then there's probably something good about the music. I just read one of those reviews and now I'm completely devoted to my new superband of the day - White Denim. Yeah man, a shitload of energy and an attidude problem so big you almost feel them spitting at your feet when they deliver their garage attack - or something ... spazz rock I read somewhere, and that sounds cool to me!

Anyway, bare with me 'cause I have severe hangovers after last nights garage/psych blowout at Pusher Street in Christiania. On Trial and Baby Woodrose for sure did what they could to fight the society with music.

I'm in love with Goon Moon. It took me way too long time to get hold on their records. Most creative bands I've heard in years. The desert sure is the best place for broadening your mind.

LowCut R'nR Radio this sunday

I will be the fucking DJ on sunday as Jens is away bartending at the Gutter Bar at Roskilde Festival. I myself won't go down untill thursday. We have extra time since some other program is on hold, so it will be 18 - 20.30 and then Det Knuste Øre will take over. Anyway, I'm thinking about doing a program something like this.

Aron @ LowCut R'nR Radio

This sunday Aron made a very intimate "mini-concert" in the radio studio. I and three other cool guys had the pleasure of being the only audience. The band was in great mood and the vibe in the studio was harle-harle harle-rama - or whatever, you know, good karma and everything. Martin from Det Knuste Øre had put up his mics and recorded the 30 min of mindblowing performance.

Aron made some real killer guitar solos and stomped a floortom, bassist Sigurd played some cool slide-bas, amplifier noise and floor-tambourine. last but sertainly not least, Søren did some floating keyboard stuck between the legs of the upside down table.

Aron has uploaded all the songs at MyMusic free for ou guys to listen to and download - how cool is that? Very cool I would say. ... and if in doubt, I'm one of the guys clapping ...

Roskilde Festival - the program ...

Well, not much to say other than I want to see Neil Young for sure. Other highlights are gonna be Motorpsycho closing Friday night and Black Mountain closing Saturday night. Always cool with psychedelig closing band as Dungen some years ago. If it wasn't for Hellacopters on Thursday I would have skipped this day and Sunday is also pretty indifferent!

I think the bomb this year is gonna be Gossip - yeah man, right! Gossip is a gayband with a fucking great 300 pound lesbian leadsinger that knows to soul 'n' roll ... and if they deliver what they do at Live in Liverpool it's gonna blow the tent away - it might turn into a satanic drug thing you wouldn't understand ...
