One of my biggest and nicest surprises at this years Roadburn Festival was Diagonal from U.K. I just stumbled upon their name at the Italian Perkele website, but as I don't understand italian I can only guess that something is going on about that promised release at Rise Above Records. The 7" is out and that is fine and all that jazz ... but hey, the album - the full album, man?!Anyway, wisit their MySpace and listen to the Roadburn concert - or go to VPRO ... or visit the Roadburn website. There's also a concert for download at Diagonal's own website. So there's no excuse, you got to hear some of this great stoner-jazz.
