MAN RAY weekender...

Så lykkedes det at få set begge Man Ray udstillinger. Super fine. Anden del af følgeton'en var på Øregaard. Her dukkede Franz Bekkerlee sandelig op! Jeg blev indrulleret i en rundvisning. Det var både syret og spøjst - men også ineressant, da hende der viste rundt først blev varmet lidt op og så gik i krig med anekdoter og what not. Både efter Gl. Holtegaard og her løb jeg en laaaaang tur efterfølgende. Denne gang mødte jeg så kronprinsen nede ved Skovshoved havn - sært! Men  Franz er den sejeste...

Søren Solkær Starbird - CLOSER

"In April 2009 Starbird will show his largest series of portraits to date at Øksnehallen in Copenhagen. Under the title CLOSER, Starbird will present the largest rock photographyexhibition ever shown in Denmark with more than 250 large-format pictures. Events such as live concerts and rock documentaries will take place in Øksnehallen during the run of the exhibition.

Søren Solkær Starbird is one of his generation’s leading rock photographers. Leading Danish artists and some of the world’s biggest stars have posed in front of his camera. Musicians range from living legends like U2, Paul McCartney and Led Zeppelin to contemporary names such as Bloc Party, Dave Grohl, Glasvegas, The White Stripes, Amy Winehouse, Artic Monkeys and Damon Albarn, to name just a few."
