BOHREN and der Club of Gore
Yet another gig by
Doomed Denmark. It
went down november 2
nd at Loppen and turned
into another great night. Opener was Danish drone/
noise band
Chasing Eudaimonia and
that was quite all right but not
fantastic. Then all lights went out and
Bohren entered
the stage
with only four 25 watt
lightbulbs -
one in front
of each musician - and
almost complete darkness!
Completely contrary to
the concert with Life on Earth. Anyway,
the music was great and
after a
short while almost everybody in front
of the stage sat
down and just
enjoyed the jazzy doom. Hard to
describe the music but it
was nice to
chill out to. I
bought the Black Earth album but
haven't had time to give it a
close listen, but I
know it's gonna be very nice.
