Southern Lord records is going to release a cd with tracks from when we started in 1985 to live tracks from 1989 we when stopped. This will include the full length LP that we just remastered, that was released on alchemy records back in 1988. Old demo recordings and live tracks will be included along with live photos and flyers. See where fu manchu got their start."

Fu Manchu: "California Crossing"
I've had this one boiling for more than one spin the last weeks. It's a great record and I don't really get the criticism about this - and never did! There's some cool hits and a really nice surf 'n' summer feel about the whole thing. Put it on repeat and just relax with these nice dudes.

The Spores: "Doom Pop"
Well, this is for sure something else than expected. It's Molly McGuire whom I only knew from Mondo Generator. The music is kind of intriguing and pretty hypnotic in some way. There's a lot of interesting stuff going on at this record, but I'm not really sure that I dig it for sure. Ask me again in three month ...

White Hills: "Glitter Glamour Atrocity"
Their latest record "Heads on Fire" blew me away so I had to get this one too. And it's maybe even better! I really think that GGA is a more varied and less full-trottle-space-rockish. I seldom agree with Pitchfork when it comes to psyched out stuff like Warlocks - and I now also disagree about White Hills!

FU MANCHU - Pumpehuset 14/11

God damn, I have had some serious hangovers today. It was a great night and I ended up drinking way to many beers and Gajol together with Pede after the show in his motorcycle workshop. Anyway, the concert was pretty okay. Truckfighters opened and the sound was shitty and not many people had shown up at 9 pm. I had a couple of xmas beers and met up with Jon A. After the break Fu hit the stage and the party began. Sound was better but still not the best, but that's usually how it is a Pumpehuset. Great set with new and old songs. Saturn III was the highligt for me - great psychedelic rocker. Luckily I didn't have to go to work today ... Fu Manchu Pictures Pumpehuset X-mas beer
