Repo Man Records - 2 Years in business

Æter - When size doesn't matter

I guess the record shop Æter is the smallest shop ever in Copenhagen. You can hardly squeeze in, but its cool. They sell vinyl and other stuff like t-shirts and sunglasses - and if you're nice you might get a cup of coffee. Kind of a collective for different creative people into this and that.

69 - the book about Ungdomshuset

This book is out today and I bought it on my way home at RepoMan Records. Really cool and there's even a pic of me from the opening back in '82. Quite funny as I also was at the opening of the "new" Ungdomshus some weekends ago now. I'm an old bastard! The opening of the new Ungdomshus was crazy. Met up with other old bastards from Gammeltorv at Floss. Then off to the new house. Thousands of people and we ended high on cryst MDMA. Very strange evening/night and I kind of returned to earth 5 oclock in the morning in the bar talking to some girl, but couldn't get the hang of anything anf finally gave up and got a cap home.

Jakob Olausson @ Repo Man Records

If you don't know this guy, read what Pitchfork had to say about his record:
"When De Stijl first released Jakob Olausson's debut, Moonlight Farm, on vinyl in 2006, it sent a serious ripple of astonishment throughout the folk underground. Olausson, a sugar beet farmer from Landskrona, Sweden, appeared to be particularly well situated to craft the sort of insular, deeply personalized outsider statement that has proven increasingly elusive in recent years. And true its promise, Moonlight Farm beautifully evokes the best of the acid-folk private press, yet still manages to set itself apart with the deceptive elegance of its design. Now issued on CD for the first time, the album has lost nothing of its disquieting allure, as Olausson's deliberate, unhurried performances and gnomic songs serve to ensnare the listener again and again." I also bought his work as Joshua Jug Band 5, and that is some heavily p...sssyched out stuff!
